Amazon is returning more than $70 million to parents whose children made in-app purchases without getting permission, says the Federal Trade Commission. Yes, if your child was using one of these apps, which asked whether he wanted to, say feed animals or buy ice cream — questions no child has ever refused. What’s more, the ice cream appears to be part of a game but charge us – their parents – very real money.
